Beliefs
As a Conservative Anabaptist/Mennonite congregation, we promote obedience to Jesus Christ and all of His teachings as recorded in the Word of God, the Bible. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, the Father. We believe that Jesus came to earth in the flesh, so that we might be saved.
Word of Life Covenant
Word of Life Covenant is an agreement made by all members at Word of Life Mennonite Church. It includes some very basic and important commitments to God and the church, as well as some of our core beliefs about what church life should look like.
Biblical Mennonite Alliance
As a member congregation in the Biblical Mennonite Alliance, we agree to uphold the doctrines and practices that BMA has agreed upon. The times we live in are ever changing, but we are grateful that the Word of God does not change with the times. We hold to the truth in God’s Word, and strive to live out what God’s Word calls for. We look to the Living Word, Jesus Christ, not only as our Savior, but also as the Lord of our lives. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
Divorce and Remarriage
Modern American culture is ignoring many of the principles of God’s Word. God teaches in His Word (the Bible) that marriage is to be one man and one woman for life. At Word of Life it is our goal to honor God’s Word in all areas, including marriage.
